Emotion vocab words
Feelings aren’t facts, but they are information. They can serve as a guidepost if we let them, telling us how we feel about the world around us and the world within us. We don’t need to be afraid of our emotions, and a helpful way to remove fear is to know and understand that which causes the feeling of fear.
Here you have a tool which can help to build your emotional vocabulary and allow you to more accurately understand the feelings you’re having. In identifying our emotions, we have a greater chance of letting them move through us. We are also then able to bring more awareness to how those emotions can and should influence our thoughts and behaviors. With this, we have a greater chance of feeling less controlled by our emotions.
Don’t be afraid of your feelings, they have something to tell you.
